What the Bible Says about Salvation

Jesus said “I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.” John 10:10 (KJV)

Yet so many are empty, searching for true meaning in life. So if God wants us to have abundant life, how do we get it?

What keeps us from it?

Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned Romans 5:12 (KJV)

We sin by nature (the sin passed from Adam to all mankind) and by choice. Everyone born in this world with the exception of Christ has chosen to break the Law of God.

Every good work, religion, philosophy, moral lifestyle has and will continue to fall short of bridging the gap between God and man.

For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God Romans 3:23 (KJV)

I do not frustrate the grace of God: for if righteousness come by the law, then Christ is dead in vain. Gal 2:21 (KJV)

For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord Romans 6:23 (KJV)

Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord Acts 3:19 (KJV)

Jesus built a bridge with his love on the cross. He makes it possible for us to have access to God.

Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me. Rev 3:20 (KJV)

If you will admit your guilt, trust completely in Christ for your salvation, repent of your sin and call out to Jesus, asking for forgiveness and salvation, He will save you. The only way across the gap that sin created is through the person of Jesus Christ.
